I've been trying to connect a Seagate Elite ST410800ND (9GB) to a
KZTSA-AA on a DEC 3000/600 running OSF/1 v3.0 347. This seems a bit
flaky. I think I actually could access the drive once, but that kernel
was configured wrongly in other respects, so I had to reboot. Now it
doesn't even show up when I probe the SCSI-bus in the monitor, though
the drive lights up as I do it.
Are anyone aware of incompatibility problems with this combination? I
have no other Fast&Wide devices, so I don't know whether it's the
KZTSA-AA or the disc which causes problems.
We're using to single-ended 9GB Elite disks on the normal SCSI-B chain
without any problems.
I'll summarize responses, of course.
