My Alpha system was purchased pre-configured to use LSM, which I am not familiar
with. I have a second disk which I would like to use to increase the size of one
of the LSM volumes (lkrdata). I think I must be missing a step, because when I do
a df, it looks like the file system size has not increased, even though if I do a
volprint -ht, it looks like space on the 2nd disk has been allocated to the volume.
What I did:
- disklabel rz0
- voldiskadm -> Add or initialize a disk (rz0 added to rootdg as disk01)
- volassist growby lkrdata 600
- volprint -ht
v lkrdata fsgen ENABLED ACTIVE 809466 SELECT -
pl lkrdata-01 lkrdata ENABLED ACTIVE 809466 CONCAT - RW
sd rz1h-01 lkrdata-01 0 0 808866 rz1h rz1h
sd disk01-01 lkrdata-01 808866 0 600 disk01 rz0
Looks like it worked, right? But when I do a df, the size of the filesystem
mounted on /dev/vol/lkrdata has not changed. I tried rebooting, no change.
What am I missing?
