Micropolis SCSI drive

anyone using the 10GB Micropolis external SCSI drive on an alpha?
it's a little cheaper than the Seagate ST410800N drives that i've been
buying, so i'm wondering if anyone has had any problems with them.
will osf/1 advfs partition it with no problems?
