Thanks so much to all who responded to my questions about
conf.h and NNTP 1.5.12.1 (below). In the end, the secret to getting
NNTP running on my system was to define STREAMS_TLI and
system type as BSD4_4.

I am trying to get NNTP 1.5.12.1 to run on my AlphaServer 1000 4/200
running OSF/1 3.0B. I have tried numerous variations of the conf.h
configuration file, but nothing seems to work. The closest I get
is compiling defining the system as BSD4_4-like; but nntpd core
dumps when invoked. Does anyone else have this running; and have
a conf.h file I could look at?
