I have just installed monsanto-nqs-3.36 and I thought I had sucessfully
set up the que system, but I now have a problem which I suspect may
be OSF specific.
I set up three batch ques, all of which worked last night. This
morning I came in and found that the ques had frozen. Qstat -a
reported that jobs were running but top reported they weren't
using any CPU. However the three accounts with nqs manager status,
could submit the identical job and they would run OK.
I then issued two nqs commands
qstat -al
qmgr: set debug 2 ( debug was originally at level 0)
( as well as hacking around looking at permissions )
next I knew users could submit to the ques.
I have reset debug level to 0, and users can still
use the queues.
Has anyone come across this problem before ??
