Hello all,
I am wondering if anyone out there has installed any of the available
CD-ROM changers on their Digital Unix boxes with the CAM Media Changer Drivers
that come on the Layered product CD's. It "seem" from what I read that it might
be possible, but before spending money I wanted to check if anyone had tried
this. Having had to move the 2 NEC 3x drives that we bought with our inital
systems last year and swap in older Sony drives when the NEC's could not be
made to work (though there are some happy PC people with fast CD's now) I do
not want to get into another struggle without some hope of sucess. What with
the Digital Sky Survey (102 CD's), the Guide Star Catalog (2 Disks) and an ever
growing collection of other data on CD (NASA mission data etc) I need to have
a lot of disks around on line. Any hints or sucesses would be apreciated. I
will sumarize any information that I recieve.
Thanks
