My question was:
Somebody have used the daemon ypbind with the flag -s,
What's its function?
The results:
It is to use the 'secure' option. Only servers considered secure is used.
Does not affect security very much.

AND,
It stands for secure, only ypservers bound to a specific port are
used. This is a JOKE if they think it's giving more security.
