Hello again,
Thanks for the suggestions on getting the PowerUser CDROM
running on a 3000/300X (OSF/1 2.0) - however still no luck.
So far,
a)>>>SHOW DEVICE says the SCSI device is DKA200 thus I'm setting it up as
    /dev/rz2c in UNIX
b) I have added OPTIONS CDFS to /sys/conf/HOSTNAME
    + enteries in /sys/data/cam_data & /sys/data/scsi_ data
          then rebuilt the kernal.
c)file /dev/rrx*c shows
/dev/rrz2c: character special (8/2050)
/dev/rrz3c: character special (8/3074) SCSI #0 RZ26L disk #24 (SCSI ID #3)
/dev/rrz4c: character special (8/4098)
When I try to reboot, I this message over & over
Bus reset detected
cam_logger: CAM_ERROR packet
cam_logger: No associated bus target lun
tcdsintr
TCDS DB bus parity error
cam_logger: CAM_ERROR packet
cam_logger: bus 0
ascintr
What does this mean, and what do I do? Thanks again
