Hello All,

I have users using vi and view to look at very large files, and
the result is very large files are placed in the /var/tmp. This
directory belongs to the filesystem /usr. The system will hang
if /usr gets to 100% capacity. some files are as large as
32-39MB. Can I link this directory to some other filessytem without
causing any problems on the system? And why does vi or view create
these files under /var/tmp?

Any suggetions is appreciated. Thanks.
