I know this question has been put to this list before, but I've never seen an
answer. I've built gcc 2.6.3 under OSF/1 3.2a. When gcc is used to compile and
link a program the following message is issued:
/usr/bin/ld:
Warning: Linking some objects which contain exception information sections
and some which do not. This may cause fatal runtime exception handling
problems (last obj encountered without exceptions was
/usr/local/lib/gcc-lib/alpha-dec-osf3.2/2.6.3/libgcc.a).
Can someone tell me how to build gcc such that this warning is not emitted?
