Hi all ,

Thanks to all those who replied .

The Original Problem was :

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi, I am running OSF/1 3.0 and changed the security to enhanced. One of the
accounts , can't login , telling him account changed by root, (as I changed the
password for him the first time he couldn't login), then it tells him that
account is disabled . I couldn't solve this problem , and it doesn't make sense
to drop the user (or remove him) then create him again .

Any Suggestions ?

Thanks in advance .

The problem is solved,in a very simple way, it seems that when you change security , some accounts
(may be they don't match some criteria in the C2 or whatever..) get disabled .

A summary of the solution :

You need to run the /usr/tcb/bin/XIsso program, from the console
(or X-windows capable display). You then select "modify user accounts"
and select the user from the menu-box next to the username field
at the top of the form. Once the user account information is displayed,
look at the bottom of the form. There is a button for 'account disabled'.
Toggle this back off. That's it.
