Hia. I'm trying to install a Seagate 15230N drive in a AlphaStation 200
4/166 and having problems here:

The drive runs fine when it's in normal use, but any time I try to dump
the drive off to tape it crashes the system with CAM_LOGGER fails (disk
seek, disk sesne, max_retries), does it every 16 blocks (wanted 8K, got
-1) and the system fails to a power-off reboot state.

I believe the SCSI bus is set up correctly (the drive is unterminated,
has parity set to on, chain goes from motherboard ->DEC Quantum drive, ->
Seagate drive, -> CD-ROM which is terminated). The tape is the only
device on the external bus and has the terminator block attached.

I'd appreciate any ideas/hints/tips/solutions.

Anyone running one, would you please email me your disklabel?

Thanks in advance.
