Here goes the summary about if it is possible to set SLIP or
PPP ports on a DECserver 200/MC. The answer is no, since
this kind of server only understand LAT protocol.
However Steve (Steve_at_AZTech.Com) comments:

I do not check if the information regarding the presence of SLIP
on DEC's CD is correct.
The comment of Mike (mcrowley_at_mhc.mtholyoke.edu) is also interesting:

I did not succeed to access that machine in Autralia, as a matter
of fact. We would need a numerical IP address.
