Hello all,

Using my own account, I am able to compile and bring up
top without any memory fault(coredump). However, top
only displays the following below:

load averages: 0.00, 0.00, 0.04
0 processes:
Cpu states: 0.0% user, 0.0% nice, 0.5% system, 99.3% idle
Memory: Real: 58M/1019M act/tot Virtual: 2177M use/tot Free: 905M

PID USERNAME PRI NICE SIZE RES STATE TIME CPU COMMAND

No processes are displayed. When I log into root and run top,
I get memory fault(coredump).

This is really strange. Can anyone point me to the right
direction? Thanks.

Our system is DEC 3000/800 and we're running 3.2.
