I received three replies - two talked about making sure the Xyplex terminal
is setting the term type properly to "vt100" - which it is. The problem
is that the termcap entry for vt100 seems to be incomplete/corrupted/
something! Anyway, Scott Ruch of DEC LAT Engineering offered this:
"This has nothing to do with the terminal server or LAT. I'm not a
termcap/terminfo expert, so I'm not sure why you're getting the error, but I
would be inclined to think that the vt100 definition is somehow corrupted."
Anyone else discovered this "little gem"? These are brand spankin' new
machines and I don't know how the termcap entry for vt100 could be corrupted
unless it came that way.
