Good Morning:
Our Alpha 4000 model 720 running OSF/1 V3.0 was rebooted this morning at 6:46
AM. I couldn't see anything in /var/adm/messages file other than normal boot
messages. There was no one logged on as a root who may have done it.
How can I find out what happened to it?? I haven't worked with Alpha much
like other unix systems but I think unless you shutdown -r system won't reboot.
If this the case and system died in the morning then it should be with >> prompt
waiting for us to enter boot.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Mukesh
