su: may not be called from rc script

I just modified the S/Key login binary to work with shadow passwords (for
those that don't use S/Key). I think I'm missing something, because when
I try to su, I get this:

su: may not be called from rc script

um. whatdoitmean? Does it think its tty is the console or something? tty
output is correct, 'w' output is correct ... ?
