Hello Managers,
We are having problems with the passwd file. This passwd command works but
when users logout and login again, they can not login until the passwd
command has been run again by root.
On a couple of instances the passwd command failed and reported an error
message that the passwd hash table can not be updated run 'mkpasswd passwd'.
So I ran the 'mkpasswd /etc/passwd' command and recieve the error message
that the password file has
332 password entries, maximum length 88
Does anyone know what this means.
Any help would be appreciated,
