snmptrap from MIT source

When running the snmptrap from the MIT source, I get the following errors:

udpSend: Permission denied
snmptrap: Error sending protocol request

I have been through the mailing-list's archives and have not seen any
reference to MIT SNMP problems.

If anyone has been down this path, please let me know.
