We have an Alpha 3000/800 running OSF 3.0 with 222.00 M of physical
memory.
Lately, we have been having memory faults
/bin/sh: 30032 Memory fault - core dumped
while trying to save an application in Ingres
and on another occasion
/bin/sh: 6435 Memory fault - core dumped
while trying to add student accounts.
A core file gets created but when I try to use dbx, an error
cannot read core file error is generated.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to go about identifying
the problem.
