I have a problem, which coincidentally surfaced post Digital UNIX v3.2C r148
install.
This is the same exact problem I saw after attempting to get sendmail v8.6.12
running on my 3000-300. (I de-installed sendmail 8.6.12 after that pending more
time to research the problem.)
Back to my current problem:
I can't send mail to myself, sendmail returns a "User Unknown" message for
me:
haymanR_at_icefog> telnet 0 25
Trying 0.0.0.0...
Connected to 0.

Connection closed by foreign host.
I would really like to figure this out and get to sendmail v8, but would
settle for getting this sendmail v5.65 functional. Any ideas? I'm currently
aliased to another host up here so I don't bounce much mail back with the
User Unknown message, but would rather not have that host handle my mail.
