Hello,
Is it possible to obtain OSF and Ultrix patches from ftp
outside United States ?
Specifically, my users have a lot of problems with dxnotepad
and I guess that some of them have been resolved through patches.
I did browse through :
http://www.service.digital.com/html/patch_service.html
Unfortunately, we have no DSNlink for Ultrix nor VMS
(we have still Ultrix machines and never have VMS).
I have only a useless-for-Europe 800 number : 800-354-9000
Of course, we are under regular software contract and
under DEC Campus agreement.
Obviously, too, my local reps were of no help :-(
Also, just FMI : what is the signification of obligation ID ?
And how can I get one ?
