Digital Unix 3.2C fixes 'vrestore -i -f -' bug!

Good news for those who have been wanting to do restores from a remote
tape drive to a local Advfs partition. Although it's not mentioned in
the release notes at all, you can now do:

        vdump -0 -f - /fileset | vrestore -i -D /some/place -f -

and have it work correctly. You can tell if you have the correct
version of vrestore with:

> vrestore -V
        $Date: 1995/06/12 13:19:06 $ Version 1.3

and look for the change in Date, but not Version. I've also been able
to copy the new 3.2C (1995/06/12) vrestore to older 3.2 systems and
use it successfully with older vdumps:

> vdump -V
        $Date: 1994/11/02 14:19:58 $ Version 1.3

Of course you have to realize that this is _not_ a supported thing to
do at all, and it just happens to work at our site, and might break at
yours.
