Hi;
Has anyone been able to get a PMAZ-A turbochannel SCSI adapter to work on
a 3000/500 or any of the other 3000 class machines? I've stuck one in a
3000/500 we have but can't get it to work right. It shows up in the console
SHOW CONFIG command and also seems to pass a console TEST TCx command but I
can't get the machine to recognize any devices that are hung off the
associated SCSI bus via the SHOW DEV console command. DEC hardware
support says that it's not a supported adapter but that it is known to
work. The ROM level on the adapter is at 5.3d which is, according to
DEC hardware support, the most current level. If anyone knows of any
tricks to get this thing to work correctly or has any ideas on it I'd
appreciate it.
