keyboards locking on AlphaStation 200 4/166

Hi,
My AlphaStations 200 4/166 are locking up about once every two weeks.
Someone logs out, and the keyboard stops responding.
I've tried restarting every daemon I can think applicable, but
only a shutdown -r now fixes it. (You can still remote login)

The system is V3.2 rev 17, I use twm and athena style xdm.

Has anyone else seen this? Is it a bug in the Xserver?
