DEC gurus,
I recently installed the latest version of wu-ftp (2.4)
on a DEC Alpha 3000/500 running OSF/1 v. 3.0. The problem
is the tar/compression on the fly when logged in as
anonymous ftp. When I login as myself it works just fine,
however, as anonymous it doesn't. I made sure all the
tar/compress/etc. binaries are available in the ~ftp/bin
directory and followed all the install instructions
carefully. Has anyone had a similar experience? Many
