SUMMARY: CC address calculation not as exspected

Thanks to the prompt response from

Ray Bellis <Ray.Bellis_at_psy.ox.ac.uk>

the solution is to include in the compilation the -Zp2 flag.
This forces proper alignment for structure members and can be found in
the man pages for cc.
