There's documentation in the form of an SPD (Software Product
Description) at the following location:
ftp://ftp.digital.com/pub/Digital/info/SPD/47-56-01.txt
As to the ethical question, several thought that I was fine so long
as I didn't use the MIT encryption set. There seem to be several
different, but comparable, varieties available.
A couple of people thought that DECathena might be more than I
actually needed, as it comes bundled with lots of other stuff
besides Kerberos. I have since learned that DEC has just
released the Kerberos set on it's own. The SPD for it is number
63.93.00. I have a copy if anyone is interested and can't
find a copy.
Thanks for the responses.
Lyn
