After having carefully squirrelling away all the info you guys
have exchanged on ADVFS hiccups, I have experienced one myself.
I attempted to use the tools in /usr/field to see what the heck
is going on and the only info I have gleaned is that the file system
looks like its mounted (using advscan). Since I didn't have a "spare"
fileset on my root partition, I can't use msfsck.
I am posting the details in the slim hope that someone else might have
a workaround that hasn't been posted before....

After rebooting a system which had crashed due to a power supply
failure, we got the dreaded:
ADVFS: Using 2322 buffers containing 18.1 megabytes of memory
ADVFS EXCEPTION
Module = 25, Line = 556
N1 = 0
panic (cpu 0): N1 = 0
We are using Digital UNIX 3.2c with a SWXCR PCI RAID controller.
