SUMMARY: Identifying disk type

Hello All,

My question was:
________________________________________________________________________________
When I issued the command "file /dev/rrz*", I get the following
for one of the disks:

/dev/rrz21a: character special (8/37888) SCSI #2 RZDSP disk #168 (SCSI ID #5)

I couldn't find any entry for RZDSP in the /etc/disktab. Does anyone
know what disk type is RZDSP? I am expecting a disktype of RZ26, RZ28, etc.

I also issued "uerf -R" to find out the firmware for the disks, and
nothing is indicated about the disk type that would be recognizable.

________________________________________________________________________________

It turns out that our disks are Digital OEM DSP series, and as Alan
(alan_at_nabeth.cxo.dec.com) pointed out that they are equivalent to
        RZ26L DSP3107LS (1GB)
        RZ28 DSP3210S (2GB)

Thanks to all who responded:
