Hi:
I saw a note a couple days ago about pop3d and the clemson site, and
didn't really read it. Of COURSE, today, I have pop3d doing very strange
and terrible things -- it's there, you can telnet to port 110, it
recognizes users, absolutely REFUSES to authenticate them. We're running
C2 security.
Anyone have any advice? We put this daemon up so long ago I don't
remember anything about what we did at the time, other than edit
inetd.conf and let it rip...it seems to me there wasn't anything special
we did, anyway. We have tried recompiling the daemon and reinstalling,
rebooting, etc.
