weird crontab behaviour

Hi folks!

I experience the following problem on a 3000/500 running Digital Unix V3.2:

The alpha is our web and ftp-server, therefore mirror is running as a
cron-job.

In my crontab file, I use mirror 2.8:

/var/spool/cron/crontabs
28 root_at_dodo:grep mirror *
ftp-adm:57 1 * * * /export/ftp/ftp-adm/mirror-2.8/cronjob

But today I got an error message that directory
/export/ftp/ftp-adm/mirror-2.3
does not exist. This directory was previously used (it contains the old
mirror version). As you have seen above, I do not use this directory
any more in my cronjobs.

Any ideas why this behaviour occurs?

thanx,
tom
