I got the following answers:

Both answered the transfer isn't possible

You are out of luck, unless you can find someone (perhaps Digital?) to take
your DEC 3000 Model 300 memory in trade for DEC 3000 Model 600 memory.
The DEC 3000 Model 300 memory is Digital part number MS16-BA, which is
listed in the Systems and Options Catalog as "16-MByte module sets (2 x
8-Mbyte 4-Mbit 70-ns DRAM module". This is parity memory, not ECC.
The DEC 3000 Model 600 memory is Digital part number MS15-xx, where the
MS15-BA (the same 16MB capacity) is listed in the Systems and Options
Catalog as "16-MByte ECC memory (8 x 2-Mbyte 1-Mbit 80-ns DRAM)". The part
that would use 8MB (4Mbit DRAMs) like what's in your DEC 3000 Model 300
memory is the MS15-DA, which comes in 64MB chunks.
You might well find that the DEC 3000 Model 300 memory is standard PC SIMM
parts, and that it could be used in a PC, but it won't work in a DEC 3000
Model 600 system.
Reference: The October, 1993 Digital Systems and Options Catalog along with
some internal reference databases (that provide a little more details on the
parts, but not much -- you can figure it out from the Catalog).

I just did that this morning, at least it recognizes this memory.
I haven't done any though testing on it though, and one possible (?)
drawback is the speed: the bootmonitor recognizes the memory as "slow".
The machine boot off with this, so I guess everything's ok.

Thank you very much for your quick answers.
