Hello managers,
For a long time now I've been receiving kernel error messages in the
log. A sample of the log follows:

Nov 17 16:04:16 homer vmunix: arp: illegal IP address 255.255.255.255 is
used by hardware address 00-DD-01-0C-95-0E!
Nov 17 16:04:16 homer vmunix: arp: illegal IP address 255.255.255.255 is
used by hardware address 00-DD-01-13-A1-C9!
Nov 17 16:04:16 homer vmunix: arp: illegal IP address 255.255.255.255 is
used by hardware address 00-DD-01-0B-E0-B6!
Nov 17 16:04:16 homer vmunix: arp: illegal IP address 255.255.255.255 is
used by hardware address 00-DD-01-0B-AD-8D!

This is just a small sample because the actual log is about 70K in size.
I've been receiving this error a couple of times a week usually around
4pm and 6 pm. The system is AlphaServer 1000/233 running Digital Unix
3.2c with 64Mb ram. The same message used to occur before the upgrade as
well...
Any help would be appreciated..
