My original question:

>>I would like to setup my Alpha 1000 2/233 with Digital UNIX 3.2c to act as
>>a fileserver for PCs and Macs. Does anyone know of software that will let
>>me do this. Is there any that is free? Thanks!

And the responses included

Pathworks 5.0, Samba and CAP.

Pathworks is commercial while Samba and CAP are free. Samba works to serve
the PCs and CAP works to serve the Macs. They can be found at these
addresses:

PC server use SAMBA http://lake.canberra.edu.au/pub/samba/samba.html
Mac server use CAP http://www.cs.mu.oz.au/appletalk/cap.page

Thanks to all!
