Alpha managers,
I have a problem with slip on an Alpha running DU 3.2C. I have
configured this Alpha for slip. Have it running routed with no flags and
have it set up for ip forwarding. If I connect to the slip interface from
another Alpha everything works fine. Once I add a default route on the
remote Alpha I can access all the hosts I want.
The problem is when connecting to this machine via slip from either
a Mac running InterSlip or a PC running Win95. In either case I can access
the remote Alpha running slip, but no other hosts are accessable. I have
set up the correct routes on the PC running Win95 and still can't access
any host but the Alpha at the other end of my slip connection.
The same Mac and PC run fine if I connect to a Sun running TIA.
Anyone have any ideas?
