SUMMARY: HELP: vrestore problem

Hi,

it turned out to be a /tmp - filesystem to small !!

We had about 6MB free space, the vrestore required approx. 12-15MB !!
(It reads all directory information from the tape into a temporary file
in /tmp [we have about 3000 dirs on the tape!!])

We linked /tmp to /var/tmp and BINGO it works.

(DEC admitted that the error message was not very informative)
