On an Alphastation 200 4/166 running "OSF1 matt.salk.edu V3.2 148
alpha" I get too many <defunct> processes. I have to reboot to free
up swap space. I really only run exmh and netscape on this computer.
I scanned the archives and it looks like this is a known problem.
Does anyone know if a patch is available or what I should do? I'm
worried that it could happen on a more important machine that I
couldn't always reboot.
