Hi!
Why is it that a tar archive made on a system running DEC OSF/1 V3.0B can't
be read properly on a machine with SunOS V4.1.3?
The archive contains a directory and five files in it. When the archive
is read the directory is created as a regular file! The other files can't be
extracted since the directory is a file...
When the archive is created on a Ultrix system everything works fine!
Why does this happen and what can I do?
