can an alphastation 200 push a 28.8K modem?

Does anyone know about the serial port capabilities of the Alphastation
200s?

Is it any better than of DECstations or the AXP 3000s (which can only go
up to 38.8K). What I'm looking to do is to drive a 28.8K modem - can the
base machine do this, or is there a card that can be added on to do it?
