We have an alpha that uses tar for it's backup. We do a 'tar tv' to
verify the backup. Over the last month we have been getting errors in
the log. Below is an example of one of the errors. This error happened to
be about one line, but the errors can be very large. Dump does not give
any such errors.

Any suggestions as to why this is happening will be much appreciated.
