Hi Managers,
I am to new to this group so forgive me if this subject has
already been summaried before.
Anyways, I need to setup some LAT printers on my DEC OSF 4.3C.
Using latsetup, I created lat devices using SV4 method,
(/dev/lat/xxxx). I left some entries in the inittab table (terminal access)
and deleted the extra entries. (For printer user).
Using latcp, I associated the port and server infomation to a few
lat devices that are spare.
I am able to "print" to these printers using cat, cat <filename> >
/dev/lat/444, but when I use the lpr command tto print,
lpr -P<PNAME> <FNAME> , the lpr command just hangs!!
The printcap file does contain a symbol ct=LAT.
Anyone got any pointers?. If someone has summarised this, could they
a copy to me as well.

Cheers
Ashok
