Hi Everyone,

We have installed Digital Unix 3.2C with C2 Security Enabled. Our
problem is users are not able to change their password using
passwd, they need to use /usr/tcb/bin/dxchpwd. This being a X-Window
based, lot of users who access without X interface has problem.

Has anyone face this problem? Is there any solution for this? We are facing
a lot of problems since user need X-interface to change password and they
get confused with the output of the command.

Following is the sample output

delta.ntu.ac.sg> pwd
/usr/bin

delta.ntu.ac.sg> ls -l passwd
-rwxr-xr-x 3 root bin 16384 Jul 25 09:48 passwd

delta.ntu.ac.sg> passwd
insufficient privileges
Password not changed: cannot access protected password entry.

Thanks in advance for any information.

Charu
