Well I'm sorry to break protocol here, I realize that the OSF
managers group is not intended to be a discussion list, but this is an
important topic to me. I'm afraid that more than the educational CLSG
program is being botched by DEC. I just spent ***SIX MONTHS*** trying to get
the necessary licences to upgrade to 3.2c. We're too small an operation to
benefit from the CLSG (all that I require are base and OS licenses). This
delay is unacceptable in itself so I'll spare you the tales of woe and and
broken promises that preceded this. And as far as support - thank god for
the OSF Managers list! I have been purchasing DEC equipment for over 10
years and using their systems for much longer. However, I'll be considering
other platforms for the next upgrade. Again I apologize for "misuse" of
this list, but it may be important to others to know that all is not well
in DECland.
