Majordomo 1.93
The problem was:
When you use the 'moderate' feature of majordomo, in which
all posts first go to a moderator for approval before going
to the list itself, posts do not reach the moderator or the list.
Though I hadn't posted the question to this list, I've spent enough time
on the issue that I felt a summary may save others some hassle.
The solution is: upgrade to DU 3.2C, and remember to replace
3.2C's /bin/mail with 3.2B's /bin/mail.
