[Q] dataless (DMS) alphas and DCE?

Hello managers,

I am slowly building up a DCE cell here at our institute, serving files
through DFS, and it works quite nicely (well, to a quite good
approximation...).

Now I am thinking of turning a few alphas (3000/300) into dataless clients to
a boot server. I was planning to have not only swap space on the local disks
of these clients, but also the /tmp and /var file systems, to minimize network
traffic. Now my question is: Are there any implications of combining DMS with
DCE? Will there be any troubles to make it work? Would there be any security
problems not present otherwise?

TIA,
