I have a DEC Alpha 8200/300 running DU 3.2C with a lot of real memory.
Running programs under csh, I cannot get over about 12MB of stacksize.
If I set the stacksize to "unlimited", and type limit, it shows that
stacksize is 128MB but I get an out of memory message at 12MB. I can
set it less than 12MB (and have less than 12MB) but cannot set it
explicitly to more than 12MB. I can malloc the memory right up until
the real memory size of the machine.
Any ideas??? Is this value set in some kind of kernel configuration
table?
