Hi Folks,
I can't get PERL (perl5.001) to compile on my DEC
DU 3.2B machine. I tried gcc, and cc and varied my
answers to 'sh Configure' many times trying to get
something acceptable. When I use cc, it craps out after
3 lines of output from make. When I use gcc, it gets quite
a bit further along before it complains about undefined:
ld:
Error: Undefined:
stack_sp
stack_base
markstack_ptr
croak
na
sv_2pv
sv_2iv
sv_newmortal
sv_setref_pv
sv_isa
sv_setpvn
sv_setiv
errno
newXS
sv_yes
strlen
malloc
strcpy
strcat
free
open
fstat
memset
close
lseek
write
memcpy
read
memcmp
Stop.
Stop.
*** Exit 1*** Exit 1
------------------
Do I have the latest perl, does it compile on DU3.2b?
Thanks, I'll post if there's interest.
