Thank you again for your fast help. I still didn't exactly figure out, why the
two daemons I got didn't work, however it was not the NIS making troubles. I
now got the QUALCOMM POP3 server qpopper 2.1.4, which is available at:
ftp://ftp.qualcomm.com/quest/unix/servers/popper/qpop2.1.4-r3.tar.Z
This server did compile cleanly under dUNIX 3.2C and started up fine after a
SIGHUP was sent to the inetd.
