Best way to configure NSR (Networker Save and Restore)

Hi,

I'm looking for the best way to set up NSR on an Alpha 2000 4/233 running DU 3.2C.
We have about 10 systems to backup. 4GB of disk each, of which 1GB for the home-directories.

The server has a DAT Jukebox with 4 TLZ07 (capacity 8GB compressed per drive).

For the moment I am running DecNSR version 2 on an old Ultrix 2100 server with 4 TLZ06.
The server settings are: parallelism = 4; active devices = 1; sessions per device = 4.
We have 10 Ultrix clients. For each client we do a full backup once a month, the rest of the
month we do incrementals (we do not use level 1 to 9 backups). It works fine except during the
full backups (probably because we do them all in the same week, meaning 2 clients a day).

Experience tells us we don't get many demands to recover files from tape.

As we are replacing our Ultrix machine by Alphas, I have the opportunity to configure it from
scratch. Does anyone have any recommendations on what would be the best (a better) setup
(server parameters, schedules, ...) for my environment?

Any suggestions are appreciated.
